Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using pineapple-split.com and the Pineapple Split commission reconciliation service ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is a product of, and is operated by, Banana Analytics PBC ("Banana," "we," "us").

The Service

Pineapple Split ingests insurance commission statements, normalizes carrier formats, checks commissions against expected rates, flags discrepancies, and computes downline agent payouts. It is provided for informational and operational purposes. Reconciliation results, including any expected rates drawn from CMS fair-market-value data, are estimates and tools to assist your own review. You are responsible for verifying outputs against your carrier contracts and plan documents before acting on them.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, and you must provide accurate information when creating an account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Solo, Agency, Upline) are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually as you choose. You may cancel at any time, and access continues through the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Founding Beta Partner offer. The first 25 agencies may select any plan free for six months. A payment method is kept on file and the plan converts to the standard monthly rate after the six-month period unless you cancel before then. The offer is limited to 25 agencies and may be withdrawn once that limit is reached.

Your data and content

You retain ownership of the statements and data you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the right to upload the data you provide, including any third-party personal information it contains, and that doing so does not violate any law or agreement that applies to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload data you are not authorized to provide
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
• Misrepresent the Service's outputs as medical, legal, tax, or financial advice

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Reconciliation findings and expected-rate figures are model- and data-driven estimates, not a guarantee of what any carrier owes you. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party rate data, and the Service does not constitute medical, legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

Limitation of liability

Banana Analytics PBC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
